I've Always Loved Microsoft Research
No, really, I love this stuff.

IPL 4 April 6-8. IPL 5 August.
At the freaking Cosmo.
I’m assuming some people will be coming into town for these…
Parents have left the city.
Hooray! Back to bitches and booze, right?
Nope.
Tomorrow
Back on effing task.
It’s fucking go time.
And I’m only posting it here because so few people come here.
Keep me company, will you? Don’t let me stray.
So Very Behind.
Driving to LA, driving back from LA, hanging out with parents, not being next to a full computer.
These are the use cases I need to cover, and yet I’m not ready. Ugh.
Ooo, and a Tumblr dashboard update. I likes.
TRAVEL!
Looks like April/May will be JK Midwest Tour 2012. West/Pacific NW Tour will be Aug/Sept: Coast Starlight or just a crazy car trip.
Deep south I can do without. Canada interests me. AK and HI, maybe Caribbean before the years end.
Getting the US out of the way for Asia Europe next year.
So much freaking data
I’m drowning in it. Not only the discrete data, which I have yet to Crete a proper system to capture, just so many life experiences to capture, to learn from, to extrapolate…
Ugh. Just live, right? But I think this is how I like to live, just calculating…
THROW IT AWAY
I have way too many tabs open.
Tonight, I will destroy them all, and I will learn from this process.
More fuel for the next project.
Which reminds me, I’m forcing myself to not open up my feed reader until I have completely cleaned up my tabs and consumed in the way I want to consume.
The Man Who Prints Houses Trailer.
And I’m pretty sure it’s not the same Marc Webb I’ve grown to love, but still, looks like another one of those documentaries only me and a handful of others might enjoy.
Reverting...
The more data you see me sending to last.fm, the more I am productive.
This means that I’ve stopped rewatching old TV shows and have started to do something that requires awesome rhythms to be heard.
Now, back to music.
Pain
Wow, I must be subconsciously avoiding pain.
Silly human, how will you ever grow without it?
Oh, I was just talking about shoulder press. What did you think I was talking about?
Back to Chiptunes.
Specifically, it’s Breakbeat Heartbeat at the moment.
I feel like I’m starting to fall in love with being a computer nerd all over again.
Hell Week
Maybe it’s the Epic Meal Time that I started to watch again this afternoon. Maybe it’s me missing gym yesterday, but I’m going to amp it up for the next four days.
Eat whatever, but destroy self at the gym.
And then, a full week off.
And then this shows up in my feeds. →
CuntHammer.
Credit Card Limit Increase
Knowing what they know before going in is huge.
I guess it doesn’t matter how much I have in the bank, they’re just looking at how much of my credit is utilized. I just don’t want to pay it off until I have to, since they’re all 0%.
Goal is to pretty much double the limits across all my cards, and look super baller for when my lease ends in May. I was thinking about...
So Some Singer Died
But that’s really not important to me.
What is more, is this ridiculous push to limit access to her catalog, in iTunes (via Sony) and now on Netflix.
Good thing I’ve never really followed pop culture. That, and I know how to pirate things.
/facepalm You guys do understand cost of goods sold, right? And that is pretty much negligible when you’re talking electrons? I would...
American Rap and Hip-Hop
I’ve tried on several occasions in the past couple of weeks, trying to listen to Rap and/or Hip-Hop while working or playing.
I’m okay, for some reason, with Korean or Japanese versions of these genres, but I just can’t seem to get into the groove with proper spoken English with bass-y beats.
Back to pop punk, I guess.
"The danger lies in what we do not know."
Definitely need to run through this entire blog. But for now, read this awesome post.
AirPlay Mirroring
The only feature I’m actually excited about.
Unified Search and Address Bar
Finally. I was wondering when this would happen for Safari.
Mountain Lion
Wow, it’s a strange feeling, feeling this snarky.
Doesn’t matter. I won’t use it anyway. What’s the point of all this negativity, right?
I'm going to fucking murder Bays and Thomas
UGH. UGH UGH UGH.
/facepalm.
Please catch up to tonight’s episode, and then join my mob. Thanks.
So many drafts
It’s kind of scary, trying to start back up to blog again.
And no, this tumblog doesn’t really count. It’s just short brain dumps of what I’m thinking of when I’m near my computer.
So many little threads I’ve started over the past… Wow, it’s only been a couple months since I wrote something on joshkim.org, but it feels like… Yeah, Sept 2010...
JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, Allegiant
I’m getting super excited about travelling again.
When young, buy experiences. When old, buy things.
Circuits and Electronics
Ooo. MITx.
Learning is awesome, regardless where the teaching comes from. I’m glad the subject matter is something I’m interested in.
AP level Physics course in E&M? I have taken such a class, but you know what? I don’t remember too much of that…
Chopin
This week? Chopin. Back on the Classical train, mofos.
Just need to keep holding back on getting that digital piano… really should be saving up more for a US tour.
Travelling
So multi-month trip to Asia next year, but definitely going to be rolling around the US. Philly for cousin’s wedding, Seattle for PAX, and random places in between.
Maybe I’ll go into Portland and see the client I’m working with. Maybe Boston again during the summer, so I can see how humid it is. Maybe… somewhere warmer like Guam. Alaska or Hawaii? Not out of the...
Chrome for Android
I’ve been waiting for this day for a long while.
Now… to get an Android device…
Delta: Rescheduling Flights
Much easier than expected. Heck, don’t even need to call them, it seems.
And actually, calling to book costs $25 extra or something silly like that.
Still… I hope to never have to reschedule flights again. $150 gone just like that.
Caller ID for Callback Numbers
Why hasn’t this shown up EVERYWHERE? So I don’t have to type in my phone number while I’m on hold.
Well, I guess… automated phone systems should die in a fire altogether.
Looks like my parents are coming into town. At the end of this month. What a great way to start March, with a visit from my parents and a ski trip later that week.
So much fun.
I’ve been having a blast in Vegas, especially in the past week.
A high school friend is visiting, and I pretty much stacked the week with so many fun activities for him and all our friends whenever there wasn’t one that other people created for us.
Gotta back into being in solitude again. It was great to recharge, but I’ve got much to think and share.
IPO IPO IPO
Really, I just like seeing these numbers. Finally.
Facebook fares poorly in a key pricing metric used in the industry to measure...

Key and Peele
Pretty funny.
Man, I love sketch shows. Comedies.
Pretty interesting that Blamination did a similar reality kitchen show sketch. Hilarious.
