Realized what is wrong with Amazon Unbox
It seems like it’s using IE as the foundation, so it makes that clicking sound when you click on anything.
But the problem is, you have to single click to select, and then double click to actually do play the file. And it only makes the sound when you click the first time.
Talk about a hybrid desktop/web app.

Probably Shouldn't Have Gotten Cute
Somehow got a bye into the round of 64 and played against… Psy. Of course, I could have just mirrored his expo, but noooo, had to get all cutesy, doing a build I have never done before.
Ugh. So that ends my little SC2 run… for now. I’m still extremely close to Diamond… I think. I can feeeeeel it. I’m winning against most of my diamond opponents, and yet still losing...
SC2 is definitely destroying my eyes.
No question about it. Staring at the screen all day and all night makes them very very dry.
I guess I’m going to have to pump the brakes… but after the tourney this weekend, I guess. And then it’s back to coding on my free time.
For now: more artificial tears, please.
I blame the eyelashes. Double eyelid surgery for actual medical purpose? Yes please.

Giving up the Daily Show
It’s weird. This past week, I’ve been feeling more and more informed. Must be the free subscription of the NYT on the Kindle that I’ve had for about a week, as well as the NPR hourly report I keep tuning into on my EVO. At least twice a day, for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been listening in, and even before then, listening in on the commute on the way to work.

It's time for my own amp
Line 6 Spider IV 75 Watts. There’s a cool rebate on the pedalboard that I already own, so I’ll be selling it off. Hoping to get $75 off the $300 price of the amp, basically. And if I get rid of the Pod 2.0, hopefully that’ll be another $150 off the tag.
