WTF Tumblr, Get Your Picture Orientation Straight
The original picture was portrait. So I thought it would upload as portrait to Tumblr. Instead, it went landscape. I tried a second and third time, once just rotating the picture four times, to no avail.
Then I got clever and decided to upload the picture portrait, but upside down. That took. Eh?
Then I rotated twice to get it back to the orientation I wanted. And then it worked.

Tumblr: Saving To Draft
It’s precisely these kinds of design choices on apps that makes me think.
Within WordPress, you have a button for saving a post as a draft. Here on Tumblr, it’s a drop-down option.
I think it’s cool that this is the way Tumblr was designed, for short bursts of posting, but not as short as the 140 character limit on Twitter.
