Travelling
So multi-month trip to Asia next year, but definitely going to be rolling around the US. Philly for cousin’s wedding, Seattle for PAX, and random places in between.

Much easier than expected. Heck, don’t even need to call them, it seems.
And actually, calling to book costs $25 extra or something silly like that.

Looks like my parents are coming into town. At the end of this month. What a great way to start March, with a visit from my parents and a ski trip later that week.

I’ve been having a blast in Vegas, especially in the past week.
A high school friend is visiting, and I pretty much stacked the week with so many fun activities for him and all our friends whenever there wasn’t one that other people created for us.
Gotta back into being in solitude again. It was great to recharge, but I’ve got much to think and share.

I like so many things about Capital One. Service is great. I just redeemed a reward balance of $3.03. Just fantastic.

Ice Skating
Unless the Earth enters into another Ice Age or ice is in abundant supply wherever I end up, I’m going to be sticking to my rollerblades.

Lenovo X200
This will be my go to throwaway computer. I’m shooing for $200. Maybe I can find a X200s, with the 1440x900 res with LED backlight… Looks like it’s not on eBay, though.
After doing the research, looks like X200 is one generation older than the current. Cheaper, and hopefully even easier to work with Linux.
Never ever needed an optical drive. Lack of trackpad doesn’t...

Not having driven while I lived here all those years ago, I realize now how bad it would be for me to get around here.
I had the same thought with SF, but at least they have a nice transit system.
But still, transportation is pretty important to a city. They’re the lifelines, really. At least With Vegas the roads seem slightly planned out due to it being in the middle of nowhere.

A Random Visit to LA
It’s happening. And it’s going to be awesome.
Not only because I get to visit LA since… 2004, but it’s yet another test of how light I’m living.
Time to live out of my backpack.
Half of the ice cream down. Super cream heavy Alfredo for lunch, with 2 refills of Coke.
But now, going on a hike… Argh.
This Trend Scares Me.
Might as well just keep losing weight to fight MMA at 135lbs. Sure.
I will eat that carton of ice cream today, my cheat day. And see how my weight is tomorrow, because this is getting seriously scary. Where is it all going? I haven’t gone to the gym in two days, nor will I go today to ease my left ankle.

It’s never worked 100%, and whenever it fails 1% of the time, that’s when the aggravations happen.
I don’t trust Plaxo with my stuff, nor do I want to put it all into Apple’s iCloud.
So now what? Hmm.
You know what, I take it back. I’m just going to roll with Plaxo.
Best solution is what solves the problem today, not what might solve it better later.
